Your Morning Routine Doesn't Have to Be
Perfect. It Just Has to Work for You.
Open Instagram for five minutes and you'll probably see someone waking up at 5 a.m., meditating for twenty minutes, journaling, going on a three-mile run, making a green smoothie, reading ten pages of a book, and somehow still getting to work before 8.
If that routine works for them, amazing.
But for most of us?
Real life looks a little different.
Some mornings you're rushing out the door.
Some mornings you're answering emails before you've even gotten out of bed. Some mornings you're just trying to remember where you left your keys.
And that's okay.
A good morning routine isn't about doing more.
It's about finding a few small habits that help you feel like yourself.
Start with one ritual
One of the biggest mistakes people make is trying to change everything at once.
They decide they're going to wake up earlier, work out every morning, drink more water, meditate, journal, read, and completely change their diet.
A week later, they're exhausted.
Instead, start with one thing.
Something you'll actually look forward to.
For us, that's making a cup of coffee.
Not because coffee magically fixes everything. Because it's a moment.
A chance to slow down before the rest of the world starts asking for your attention.
Romanticize the ordinary
Not everything has to be a huge life transformation.
Sometimes it's lighting a candle while you work.
Sometimes it's putting your phone down for ten minutes.
Sometimes it's drinking your coffee from your favorite mug instead of whatever clean cup is closest.
Those little moments have a way of changing how the rest of your day feels.
You don't need to earn your rest
Somewhere along the way, we started believing we have to be productive every second of the day.
We rush through breakfast.
We drink coffee while answering emails.
We listen to podcasts at double speed.
We multitask everything.
What if your morning drink wasn't something you rushed through?
What if it became the one part of your morning where you slowed down? Even if it's only five minutes.
Create a routine you'll actually stick with
The best morning routine isn't the one that looks the prettiest online. It's the one you'll still be doing six months from now.
That might mean stretching for five minutes.
It might mean writing down three things you're grateful for.
It might mean taking your dog for a walk.
Or it might simply mean making a cup of mushroom coffee and enjoying it before the day begins.
Consistency beats perfection every time.
Build mornings that feel like yours
At Shroom Babe, we believe wellness should fit into your life. Not the other way around.
You don't need an expensive wellness retreat.
You don't need twenty different supplements.
You don't need to wake up before the sun unless you actually want to. You just need a few small rituals that make you feel grounded.
That's why we created Shroom Babe.
To make one part of your morning feel a little calmer.
A little cozier.
A little more intentional.
Because your morning doesn't have to be perfect. It just has to feel like you.
